A NEW SPIN ON THE STORY OF THE GOOD SAMARTIAN

We all know the written PARABLE in God's Word of The Good Samartian...  Below the original that is written I have shared only using TODAY CURRENT TERMINOLOGY and what it would be like in today's world with this story...

I wanted to put a 'spin' on this parable to share what it would be like today in today's world.

This is the original:

Luke 10:25-37
New International Version (NIV)

The Parable of the Good Samaritan
25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”
27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]
28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”
29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[c] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Now for the SPIN on this parable...

There was a Messianic Jewish Rabbi whom lived in Jerusalem Israel.  He suffered geatly from even his own jewish people inside of Jerusalem for they dispised anyone whom had accepted YESHUA as Messiah.  But this Messianic Jewish Rabbi was very well known around Jerusalem.  Those whom truly knew him, loved him for he was very kind hearted and he often would give even the shirt on his own back if someone needed it more than he...

One day as he was walking down a street - a mob of young men from Gaza decided to beat this Messianic Jewish Rabbi and steal from him.  So they beat him so badly that he layed in a pool of his own blood with his face down on the street.  His face had been crushed and he was dying.

A very educated Pharisee JEW saw the entire incident occur but because he knew that this Jewish Rabbi was Messianic and had accepted YESHUA - he decided to walk on the other side of the street and pretend he did not see anything happen.  He walked by very fast to be sure no one noticed him.

Another JEWISH Levite Priest was walking toward the beaten man that had been left for dead, but he too recognized that this was the Messianic Jewish Rabbi.... This JEWISH Levite Priest had even gone to the Messianc Jewish Priest when he and his family needed some food.  But because he did not accept the ways of the Messianic Believers of accepting YESHUA - He too walked on the other side pretending not to see his own JEWISH people laying in a pool of his own blood.

Then a young man came by, He too was hated by the JEWISH PEOPLE for he was an outcast since He was an Arab and was originally from Iran. The JEWISH people in Jerusalem hated this man because he looked Arab, so they judged his heart from his looks from the outside.  This young man grew up in a muslim family but he himself became agnostic for he could not understand why a GOD would hate so much as within the Islam ways.  So he wanted nothing to do with this kind of GOD..   But because he looked and spoke arabic and also his native language of Persian, and also he spoke Hebrew, this man was only a stranger in the midst... he was shunned from all.   This young man had a very gentle and kind heart...

When this young man, whom did not know the MESSIANIC JEWISH RABBI (for he was only a stranger), he saw the JEWISH man laying on the streets, almost to the point of death...

His heart cried for this dying man so he picked up the dying JEWISH man, and carried him to the nearest hospital setting to get the help that the man needed to live.  This young ARAB Iranian man stayed by this strangers side until this MESSIANIC JEWISH man got the help he needed.

The Iranian man also told the hospital personnel, I do not know this man, but I want to be responsible for him and I will pay you all and any costs that it takes to bring this JEWISH man back to life and to health and I will pay you in full when I return back from my business trip.

WHOM did what GOD would want them to do?

Did the RELIGIOUS JEWISH PRIESTS do what God would want them to do?  To judge and point their fingers at everyone else.... to even hate this stranger whom was from the Arab world from Iran...

Or did the young Iranian man that was hated by all JEWISH people because he was Arab and from Iran, but even as a stranger this young Arab man did more to demonstrate GOD's heart to the beaten stranger then those whom had studied GOD'S WORD for a life time but never shared GOD's word to others with actions (For actions speak louder than words.)

Please beloved people... Please do not come against your OWN PEOPLE regardless if Messianic Jews or Jews or Christians or Arabs or human beings....

Even in Christian churches we place others on the outside and ask them to leave if the person is BROKEN, rather than helping the BROKEN to find freedom and HEALING.  (This happened in my own life of being asked to leave because my brokenness was too much for the same women's bible group so they placed me on the outside and told me to come back when I got better.)

We are all made out of the same ingredients called CLAY (DUST) and to DUST we all will go back.

Please value human beings - no matter who they are.... for we all have sinned, we all have failed, we all have turned our backs from GOD... but the only way people will want to know anything about GOD is that they see LOVE poured out to others, including strangers...

What good does it do to know all of GOD'S WORD but not living by His Word... and showing GOD's AGAPE LOVE and MERCY to those from within whom are broken - let alone to those on the outside of our walls...

Please go and do likewise as the STRANGER ....

JEWS WHOM ARE AGAINST EVEN THEIR OWN PEOPLE (FELLOW JEWS) IN ISRAEL... WHY LORD... WHY...

Please watch to the left.
